Sergio Busquets has made a claim about Inter Miami that could strike fear into the hearts of every other team in MLS this season.
The Herons head into the Leagues Cup break clear as the clear frontrunners in the Eastern Conference and the Supporters Shield standings, with Inter Miami favorites to win MLS Cup come the end of the year.
With Inter Miami winning six of their last seven games in the league, all without Lionel Messi, there’s a real chance that the Florida franchise could end the season as domestic double-winners if they can maintain this level of form.
And Busquets has now issued a message that could scare teams in MLS for good.

Busquets says Inter Miami will get better when everyone is back
Speaking to the press during MLS All-Star week, Busquets sent a warning shot to Inter Miami’s MLS rivals that the Herons can go up another level in terms of quality once the entire squad is back and healthy.
Inter Miami have not had a fully fit roster at a single point this season, with injuries plaguing Tata Martino’s side all year long, and Busquets is convinced that the Florida giants can become even better when everyone is available once again.
Busquets said on Inter Miami’s form this season: “We’re the leaders in the league now, playing well, but we still haven’t had our full roster in any game. We’ve had players injured, players gone for national team duty.
“I think when we are all together, we will be able to reach an even higher level. We will try. We have a tough group with two Mexican teams and hopefully we can use our experience from last year and advance.”

Inter Miami can become unstoppable in MLS once everyone is fit
Inter Miami are on course for a historic year in MLS, one made that even better given the fact that Messi has missed more games this season than he has played for the Herons.
Yet once everyone is back and fully fit for Martino’s side, there’s really no telling how unstoppable Inter Miami can become with the likes of Messi, Luis Suarez, Matias Rojas and Benjamin Cremaschi.
Indeed, Inter Miami are proving their credentials and then some this season, and the Herons will want to show MLS and the world that they can be one of the best teams on the planet when at their maximum power.
