The September international break has come to an end, and it was quite an eventful few days for Inter Miami’s select few on duty.
Luis Suarez ended his historic career with Uruguay by bowing out from the international game, whilst Diego Gomez enjoyed one of the best nights yet in his sporting life with an incredible winner against Brazil for Paraguay.
Another player on international duty from Inter Miami was David Ruiz, who enjoyed quite a successful few games as the 20-year-old midfielder scored two goals in two games for Honduras in the CONCACAF Nations League.
Yet the youngster was not pleased with once performance this international break.

David Ruiz critical of not taking his chances for Honduras against Jamaica
Speaking to the press after Hondruas’ 2-1 loss against Jamaica, Ruiz spoke about how he is frustrated with himself for not taking his chances on the night despite scoring for Los Catrachos.
Having impressed in a 4-0 win against Trinidad and Tobago, it makes sense why Ruiz was not pleased with himself after failing to secure anything against Jamaica, who were there for the taking at Tegucigalpa.
And Ruiz will seemingly take some key lessons from the result, with the youngster saying: “Unfortunately, we did not take advantage of the situation and we were punished, but we have to learn and move on, since not all is lost.
“I regret it [missing chances], I could have made better decisions when it came to finishing, but we have to turn the page and learn from it.”

Ruiz needs to take international frustration to perform for Inter Miami
With Ruiz being used as an attacking midfielder for Honduras, the 20-year-old Inter Miami star was utilized in a role that few would have expected from the younger, who has thrived this season playing in a defensive position.
And heading into Inter Miami’s final games of the regular MLS season, Ruiz will want to use his frustration from this month’s international break to become an even better player for the Herons.
Indeed, Ruiz is one of Inter Miami’s most exciting prospects and a player who has a big future, and taking the right lessons from big gmaes will help the midfielder become an even better athlete than he is now.
