‘We are thrilled’: Inter Miami sporting director shares first reaction after Benjamin Cremaschi update

Benjamin Cremaschi is one of Inter Miami’s most exciting players, and the Herons will now have the joy of having the midfielder on their books for a new more years.

The 19-year-old this week signed a new contract with Inter Miami that will keep Cremaschi at Inter Miami until 2027, with the youngster sticking with the club where he has spent the majority of his soccer career having come through the academy.

With Cremaschi delighted to have signed a new contract with Inter Miami, the news is another welcome boost for the Florida franchise after Lionel Messi returned to action for the Herons against the Philadelphia Union.

And sporting director Chris Henderson has now shared his reaction on Cremaschi signing a new contract.

Henderson delighted to keep Cremaschi at Inter Miami

Speaking to Inter Miami’s official website, the Herons official shares how excited he is that Cremaschi has opted to commit his future to the Florida franchise, where the midfielder has developed into a superstar in MLS.

Henderson said: “Benja is a great homegrown success story for our development pathway, and we are thrilled to further our mutual commitment in the years to come. His future is extremely bright and we’re looking forward to his continued contributions to Inter Miami CF.”

With Inter Miami showing they can develop players good enough to Europe with Diego Gomez set to join Brighton & Hove Albion in January, Cremaschi remaining with the Herons could work wonders for the teenager’s development.

And with Cremaschi signing for Inter Miami until 2027, the midfielder now has a good amount of time ahead of him to take his game to the next level and to show the world that he has the quality to one day make the move to Europe.

Cremaschi knows his journey is just about to start

At 19-years-old, Cremaschi is very much at the start of his soccer journey, with the midfielder only spending a year as a regular for Inter Miami having broken through the academy system and into the first-team.

And with Cremaschi extending his contract with Inter Miami, the midfielder now knows it is up to him to take his development up a few levels if he’s to achieve his dream of one day making the move to Europe.

Inter Miami have given the likes of Gomez to make the Transatlantic switch, and Cremaschi will want to follow in his teammate’s footsteps in the next few years with the Florida franchise.
