Rudy Camacho relishing the chance to take on Messi at last
Speaking to the press ahead of tomorrow’s game, the French defender shared how excited he is to finally take on Messi as well as the rest of Inter Miami’s star players, with the Crew looking to make a statement ahead of the play-offs.
Columbus have already beaten Inter Miami this year with their quarter-final Leagues Cup win against the Herons, and with the two sides facing off again tomorrow, Camacho seems intent on claiming another big result against Martino’s side.
The former CF Montreal said when asked how is feeling about facing Inter Miami with Messi available to play: “It’s always nice to play against players like this, that’s what we want, so this is a good game for us.
“We played against Miami in Leagues Cup and we won, so we can do it again, we still have a chance, it’s not going to be easy, but we still have a chance and if we beat them on Wednesday, we can believe in it, first place.”

Inter Miami need to get the job done against the Columbus Crew
Inter Miami head into tomorrow’s game on the verge of history, with a single win enough to confirm the Herons as Supporters’ Shield champions after a year to remember in MLS.
And getting the job done against the Crew could give Inter Miami the boost they need to go the distance in MLS Cup, where having home-field advantage throughout the majority of the play-offs will be huge.
Indeed, Inter Miami are almost at full strength and have their star player in Messi back to full fitness, and against the Crew, the Florida franchise can send a message to rest of the league that they’re here to make history this year in MLS.
