Inter Miami have been the best side in MLS this year with the Herons this week winning the Supporters’ Shield title at long last.
A 3-2 win away to the Columbus Crew secured a historic moment for the Florida franchise as Lionel Messi inspired Inter Miami to their first-ever Supporters’ Shield triumph, with the Argentine expanding his title cabinet to a world-record 46.
With all eyes now on MLS Cup with one regular season game left to go, Inter Miami are in the best possible position with Messi back and fully fit with the rest of the star roster all healthy and looking good in Tata Martino’s system.
And Inter Miami youngster Noah Allen has shared if Inter Miami can break yet another MLS record this year.

Allen confident Inter Miami can set new regular season points record
Speaking to the press after Inter Miami’s 1-0 win against Toronto FC, Allen shared how confident he and the Herons are in setting a new MLS regular season points record with one game left to go.
Inter Miami host the New England Revolution after the international break in a game that could see the Florida franchise set the record for the most points won in a single regular season, currently held by the Revs themselves.
And Allen is confident that Inter Miami can do just that, with the Revolution in poor form this year and there for the taking for Martino’s side, who will want to end the regular MLS season with a flourish at Chase Stadium.
Allen said when asked how Inter Miami are feeling about chasing the record: “We want to get the record, so [we are feeling] very positive, we are very happy to get the result and keep building on it. We have one more game left and we’re going to go out there to win to get the record.”

Inter Miami know they can make MLS history once again
Inter Miami have broken numerous MLS records since the arrival of Messi last year, with Martino’s side likely to keep up this streak until the Argentine international calls it quits in MLS.
And heading into the final regular season game of 2024, Inter Miami know they can make league history once again against the Revolution, who are there for the taking after a year to forget.
With Inter Miami flying high after a historic week, three points against New England to end the season could be a formality when the two sides meet later this month, with the Herons extra motivated to get the job done.
