Lionel Messi joined Inter Miami last year, and the Florida franchise have since transformed into one of the biggest soccer clubs in the world.
The Herons are now one of the most recognizable brands in all of sport, with Andres Iniesta also sharing that Messi is loving life at Inter Miami after one year with the MLS side, who this season won the Supporters’ Shield.
With Neymar now linked with a move to Inter Miami, Tata Martino’s side could be about to become even bigger if the Brazil international was to reunite with his former FC Barcelona teammates in Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets.
Yet a training ground video of Messi has taken Inter Miami supporters on social media by surprise.

Inter Miami fans laud Messi for causal approach in training
A video posted to social media shares Lionel Messi just casually sitting on the ground and observing the Inter Miami academy players in training, with the Argentine’s sons part of the youth set-up alongside Suarez’s.
With Inter Miami’s Oscar Ustari recently revealing how humble Messi is, it’s perhaps no surprise to see the 37-year-old attacker acting so causal in training despite how big of a legend the former Barcelona star is in soccer.
Here’s what some Inter Miami fans had to say on Twitter…
One Inter Miami supporter posted: “I couldn’t even imagine being those kids. They don’t know how lucky and blessed they are.”
Another Herons fan wrote on Messi casually watching Inter Miami’s academy players: “Messi is Messi , he doesn’t even know that’s he the GOAT, so humble.”
Another fan posted: “Messi honestly doesn’t know he is Messi.”
Whilst one Inter Miami fan shared: “I doubt this man called Messi knows that he’s a God here on Earth.”

Messi’s normalness is what makes him the greatest of all time
There’s a common joke in the soccer world that the only human who isn’t aware of good Messi is is Messi himself, and this clip once against shows just how normal the FIFA World Cup winner can be most of the time.
The Argentine international’s humbleness and normal behavior has made Messi who he is today, with the Inter Miami star someone who isn’t drawn to the limelight or to show off to prove his one-in-a-million talents.
And Inter Miami’s academy players will learn to appreciate how important staying humble is, with Messi a player every youngster in the world should be taking lessons from both on and off the pitch.
