Inter Miami are set to make a big transfer in 2025, with Paul Pogba a rumored target for the Florida franchise.

The Juventus superstar is expected to become a free-agent next January with Pogba reportedly eyeing a move to MLS, with Inter Miami, of course, one of the teams linked with signing the former Manchester United midfielder.

Although MLS sources think Inter Miami will struggle to sign Pogba, the 31-year-old is a big-name player who could be eager to make the move to Florida, with America seemingly the France international’s next destination.

And Pogba has now said who he thinks is better between Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Pogba refuses to take sides on who is better between Messi or Ronaldo

Speaking with Twitch streamer iShowSpeed, Pogba shared his distaste for the Messi vs Ronaldo debate, with the Juventus star noting that he thinks the argument is not important when asked who he prefers out of the two.

Pogba said: “For me, there is no Ronaldo vs. Messi, let’s stop this ——-. Who do I prefer? If I’m making a team and need to score goals, I would take Cristiano, but only score goals. But if I need a playmaker who can score goals and make assists, I would take Messi every day.”

With Inter Miami target Weston McKennie recently naming Ronaldo as his preferred option between the two having played with the Portuguese international at Juventus, Pogba’s stance on the topic is one many professionals in the game could have.

Yet with the midfielder a target for Inter Miami, there’s every chance that Pogba could soon change his mind if the Herons end up signing the France superstar, who could have his world shaken by training with Messi.

Would Pogba be a good signing for Inter Miami?

With Inter Miami having their three Designated Player spots filled up, there will have to be some logistical acrobatics the Herons will have to perform if they’re to secure Pogba’s signature for 2025.

Yet with a world-class midfielder an ideal signing for Inter Miami and one who has a name as big as Pogba’s would be quite the addition for the Florida franchise for next year heading into the FIFA Club World Cup.

With Pogba himself open to moving to MLS, the France international could make the move easier by lowering his demands to join Inter Miami, with the prospect of playing with Messi one that might be too tempting to turn down.
