Inter Miami staff are reportedly excited about a growing partnership in the squad between Jordi Alba and a Herons youngster.
The 35-year-old left-back has been quietly one of Inter Miami’s best players since joining the Florida franchise last year, with Alba already managing an impressive four goals and six assists in 30 appearances for the MLS side.
Whilst this year has seen Alba being sent off and pick up a month-long injury, the former FC Barcelona star’s form has been impressive, with the defender set to play a key role in upcoming games with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez away at the Copa America.
And Inter Miami insiders are now excited about a growing partnership Alba is now creating.

Alba forming a good relationship with Inter Miami attacker Leonardo Campana
According to Marca, Inter Miami are ‘buzzing with excitement’ over the growing partnership between Alba and Inter Miami attacker Leonardo Campana, who was not selected to represent Ecuador at the Copa America.
The 23-year-old striker is set to lead the line for Inter Miami with their two key attackers gone for the month, with Tata Martino a huge fan of Campana having recently scored two match-winning goals in MLS.
A player who Messi has also struck up a friendship with at Inter Miami, it’s clear that Campana is a emerging as a real teammate favorite in the Herons locker room this season.
And with Alba now the latest superstar name to form a connection with Campana, there’s a good chance that the former Wolves striker could be on the receiving end of some fantastic service in upcoming games.

Campana can write his name into Inter Miami folklore in the coming weeks
With Messi and Suarez both expected to be back by at least July from the Copa America, Campana has a real chance of becoming something of a cult hero at Inter Miami if he can hit top form in the coming weeks.
Campana has showed he can be a regular goalscorer in MLS if he gets the right service and if he can find himself in the ideal position to cause opposing teams some real damage inside the 18-yard box.
And if the Ecuador international can hit top gear in upcoming games with Messi and Suarez absent, Campana can become an icon at Inter Miami for dragging the Herons through this awkward period in the season.
