Roma star Paulo Dybala high on Mascherano’s wish list
Javier Mascherano will be looking to apply his stamp on things at the Chase Stadium ahead of next season, and one man seems high on his wish list.
Paulo Dybala, who has played with Lionel Messi over a number of years with Argentina, is seen as a potential new addition to help push the team forward, according to Pasion Futbal.
Dybala’s current contract at Roma runs until the summer of 2025 meaning that the player would become a potential free-agent option if he fails to sign a new deal.
It may not be a simple deal for David Beckham and the Inter Miami hierarchy though with Boca Juniors reportedly interested in the 31-year-old.
Dybala has scored well over 100 career goals and his ability on the ball and nouse to find the back of the net would certainly add fire-power to Mascherano’s side.
Inter Miami eyes major signings to partner Lionel Messi
There’s a lot of excitement around Inter Miami at the moment despite a poor end to last season.
The Herons recently found out their Club World Cup opponents, and have been constantly linked with some of football’s top talents.
Messi’s former teammate Neymar has been spoken about for a while now over potentially re-uniting with his former Barcelona friends. The Brazilian is still under contract with Saudi club Al-Hilal though.
Premier League stars Mohamed Salah and Paul Pogba have both been reported as targets for the club.
Salah is struggling to agree on a new deal with Liverpool whilst Pogba is without a club following his release from Juventus.
There is no doubt that the club are trying to bring in at least one big name ahead of what is set to be an exciting new season.
