Premier League side West Ham are reportedly interested in signing one of Inter Miami’s most exciting youngsters this summer.
English and European teams have become more inclined to invest in talent from MLS in recent years, with last summer alone seeing Djordje Petrovic and Taty Castellanos sign for Chelsea and Lazio respectively.
With the upcoming transfer window likely to see a number of other big names from MLS linked with moves to Europe, Inter Miami could be one of the teams that suffers the most given the amount of highly-rated youngsters the Herons have on their books.
And one name in particular is already drawing interest from the English Premier League.

Inter Miami midfielder Diego Gomez on West Ham’s summer radar
According to journalist Andres Rolon, Inter Miami youngster Diego Gomez is now a target for West Ham, with the Paraguay international on the Irons’ radar for the summer transfer window.
With Gomez already linked with a move to Brighton & Hove Albion, the 21-year-old midfielder is emerging as a top target for Premier League teams, even with the Inter Miami star out injured with an ankle problem.
The youngster went down last month against Nashville SC after rolling his ankle on the turf, with Gomez set to be out for at least a few more weeks in what was a major injury blow for Inter Miami.
However, Gomez’s lack of action heading into the summer has seemingly done little to stop clubs from chasing the midfielder, and West Ham could now be an option for the former Club Libertad star.

Gomez could benefit from staying in MLS until January
Gomez is easily one of the most exciting players on Inter Miami’s roster and a talent who will end up in Europe sooner rather than later based on his current development.
Yet this summer might be too soon a window for the Paraguay international to make the move to Europe, especially with Gomez out injured until June at the earliest.
Indeed, whilst the Premier League might be an alluring destination for this summer, Gomez’s development is best served in MLS with Inter Miami, with a January move a better time for the midfielder to depart.
