Inter Miami have been linked with numerous football stars since the end of the MLS season but one player appears to have put out a ‘come and get me’ plea.
The Herons have been linked with Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Liverpool’s Mo Salah and Al-Hilal’s Neymar in recent weeks and months.
New manager Javier Mascherano has also had to deal with a few departures since taking charge.
Diego Gomez has secured a move to Premier League side Brighton and goalkeeper CJ dos Santos joined new MLS side San Diego FC.
It appears that Mascherano is trying to bring further Argentinian flavour to the team and the side has been linked with River Plate’s Santiago Simon.
While Lionel Messi is yet to sign a new contract the possibility of an international teammate joining the side might help force his hand.

Nicolas Tagliafico linked to Inter Miami move
It is rare for players to speak out on a potential transfer but it’s not unheard of.
World Cup winner Nicolas Tagliafico took matters into his own hands by suggesting a potential move during an online stream, according to TNT Sport Argentina.
Tagliafico was quoted as saying: “I don’t know where I am going to play next year, but for the moment I’m not going to be at the Club World Cup… Or am I?”
He continued: “I’m for Inter Miami, the thing is that Jordi Alba is there.”
Inter Miami have also been linked with Nicolas Otamendi, an international teammate of both Messi and Tagliafico.
The 32-year-old full-back is out of contract in June and his current club Lyon are facing several financial issues that will likely see the star leave.

Inter Miami’s Argentinian influence
With two of the key figures at the club, Mascherano and Messi, both being Argentinian I think it’s safe to expect a South American feel to the club.
As previously stated the club have already been linked with Nicolas Otamendi and Santiago Simon as well as a whole host of other Argentinian stars.
Inter Miami has struggled to find a world-class goalkeeper for some time and has been linked with Lanus’ Nahuel Losada, another Argentine.
Mascherano has only ever managed Argentinian players, as coach of the youth side and Olympic team, so he may look to lean on those he trusts in his first club role.
