Inter Miami are on the hunt for their next superstar signing, with Paulo Dybala a potential option for the Herons.

The Argentine international’s future at AS Roma is up in the air with the attacker’s contract due to expire at the end of this season, with Dybala now believed to be a top target for Inter Miami under new manager Javier Mascherano.

With Inter Miami also linked with the likes of Angel Di Maria, there is a strong chance that Mascherano will use his links with the Argentine national team to bring in a top signing for the Florida franchise, who seemingly want to add another top attacker to partner Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

And Roma manager Claudio Ranieri has now dropped an interesting hint surrounding Dybala’s future.

Roma will let Inter Miami target Dybala leave for the right offer

Speaking to the press, the former Chelsea and Leicester City manager strongly suggested that Roma will open the door for Dybala to leave if the player is keen to depart and if the Serie A side receive the right offer for the striker.

Inter Miami aren’t the only team interested in signing Dybala, though, with Galatasaray also keeping tabs on the former Juventus superstar’s situation at Roma, with the 31-year-old attacker yet to make a decision on where he wants to end up.

And for Inter Miami, they will want to move quickly to secure Dybala’s signature, especially with Ranieri now suggesting that the Roma forward could leave having endured a tough season with the Italian giants this term.

Ranieri said: “I’m happy to have him, but if the boy has other priorities and a mutual solution is found, it’s right to please him. I want players who are happy to be at Roma. I haven’t seen this discomfort, however. We will have a market that will improve Roma, we won’t buy players just for the sake of buying.”

How good has Dybala been since joining Roma?

Playing in his third season in Roma, Dybala’s time in the Italian capital has been mixed, with the versatile attacker showing glimpses of why he was once considered one of the best forwards in Europe yet suffering from consistent injury problems.

Yet as Dybala’s stats from this season show, there has been a significant drop off in form compared to his two other campaigns with Roma, with the forward managing just two goals in all competitions.

Indeed, Dybala would be quite the addition for Inter Miami given his overall quality and experience at the highest level in Europe, yet the Herons might need to double check they want to bring the 31-year-old to Florida given his form this season.
