Inter Miami have been linked with some big names since the end of the MLS season and a Manchester United star is the latest.
While new manager Javier Mascherano is yet to make any signings he has certainly been compiling a shopping list for the club’s hierarchy.
Liverpool’s Mo Salah has been spoken about and a clear desire to re-unite Neymar with Lionel Messi has been evident. However, Neymar recently dealt Inter Miami a blow over his future.
Despite no current incomings the Herons have lost Diego Gomez to Brighton and new MLS side San Diego FC acquired the services of goalkeeper CJ dos Santos.
Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne has already been linked but it’s the other side of Manchester that could provide Inter Miami’s next star.

Marcus Rashford looking for ‘new challenge’
A player with the stature of Marcus Rashford rarely becomes available but it appears following his latest comments that his future lies outside of Old Trafford.
Speaking to football writer and broadcaster Henry Winter, Rashford said: “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”
His comments came after being left out of Ruben Amorim’s United squad for the Manchester derby in which it was suggested that Rashford was not training or engaging with teammates well.
If Rashford is looking for a new challenge the MLS could be the perfect place for him to refind his best form.
Rashford is a frequent visitor to the US and has made no secret of his love for the nation, he is often found watching NBA basketball games when he has some time off.
Sources have told ESPN that a move to MLS at some stage in his career would hold great appeal.

How the finances could impact Inter Miami
It’s no secret that trying to get a deal done for a player who is currently valued by Transfermarkt at $55m isn’t going to be easy.
To add to that Rashford is tied to a contract until the summer of 2028, so any idea of it following the Messi mould isn’t feasible.
The other sticking point is wages, it would take a hefty sum to convince Rashford at the age of 27 to move to the MLS. The money would have to be second only to Lionel Messi’s you would imagine.
While a deal appears tricky if any team in the MLS can make the finances work it’s Inter Miami.
The club already have a slight edge on the competition with co-owner David Beckham’s ties to Manchester United and the draw of playing with Lionel Messi could also prove tempting.
