Soccer greats like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Sergio Busquets are now regular fixtures at the Chase Stadium – helping transform the Herons into an MLS juggernaut.

Despite their iconic status though, all those players arrived on free transfers – begging the question as to who is Inter Miami’s most expensive signing of all time…

Signed in 2022, from Columbian side Millonarios – Emerson Rodriguez’s time in Vice City hasn’t gone as he would have hoped.

Having only managed 25 appearances for the Herons, the majority of the Columbian’s career has been spent out on loan – most recently at Vasco de Gama in Brazil.

The 2019 signing of Matias Pellegrini is definitely one the Inter Miami owners will want to forget.
