Tadeo Allende shares first message as Inter Miami’s latest January signing

Inter Miami have announced their second signing of the January transfer window in Celta Vigo winger Tadeo Allende.

The Herons confirmed the capture of the Argentine international on loan for the 2025 season with Inter Miami also close to signing a goalkeeper ahead of the start of pre-season friendlies later this week under new manager Javier Mascherano.

With Inter Miami also set to land Telasco Segovia from Portuguese side Casa Pia, all stations are go for the Florida franchise in regards to new signings, with the Herons keen to add as much quality as possible before the start of the new MLS season.

And Allende has now shared his first message with Inter Miami fans having joined on loan.

Allende ‘honored’ to have joined Inter Miami on loan

Speaking to Inter Miami’s official website, the Argentina attacker shared how excited he is for this new chapter in his soccer career with the Florida franchise, with Allende seemingly keen to get started with Mascherano’s side.

Allende said: “I’m honored to have the opportunity to join Inter Miami for an exciting new chapter in my career. I’m happy to be here in South Florida and I’m ready to give it my all to help the Club achieve its objectives this upcoming season.”

The latest Argentine player to join Inter Miami, Allende will fit in well alongside Lionel Messi and company ahead of the 2025 season, with Mascherano and his transfer team pulling off a good move in signing a La Liga attacker on loan for the year.

And with pre-season friendlies just around the corner, Inter Miami have brought in Allende at the perfect time, with the winger able to get his feet under the table and to show his new club what he’s capable of having joined for the season.

Who else are Inter Miami close to signing this January?

With Allende now through the door, the Chase Stadium side are looking good for attacking options with Inter Miami also signing Fafa Picault earlier in the window following the departures of Leonardo Campana and Matias Rojas.

And current rumors suggest that the Herons are far from done with their January business, with Inter Miami reaching an agreement to sign Gonzalo Lujan from San Lorenzo in a deal worth $800,000 for the Argentina youth international.

With Inter Miami also interested in signing Nahuel Ferraresi as part of their defensive rebuild, the backline appears to be where Mascherano and his team will focus their attentions on next, with center-backs and depth needed for the new season.
