Inter Miami’s first-team roster is starting to take shape under new boss Javier Mascherano.
Fafa Picault has arrived as a free agent, meanwhile, Tadeo Allende has joined the Herons on loan from Celta Vigo.
With two attackers through the door at the Chase Stadium, Mascherano is seemingly now targeting defensive reinforcements.
This has seen Inter Miami agree to sign Maxi Falcon from Chilean giants Colo Colo, with the Uruguayan expected to join up with fellow countryman Luis Suarez very soon.
Falcon will arrive in Vice City as a relatively unknown figure to Miami supporters, so Inter Miami News thought it would be worthwhile taking a closer look at the soon-to-be Herons star.

Maxi Falcon style of play
Maxi Falcon can best be described as a very-front foot, aggressive defender.
In terms of Uruguayan’s main strengths, he is a very good box defender regularly making crucial blocks or clearances.
Despite not being the tallest, Falcon is strong in 1v1 duels whether that be on the ground or in the air.
The 27-year-old’s game isn’t just limited to defending though as he is very comfortable on the ball, with his lofted diagonal passes being a key asset to his game.
