Inter Miami’s pre-season campaign continues as they travel to Peru to face Universitario.
The Herons’ first fixture of the off-season saw Javier Mascherano win his first game in charge as his side overcame Club America on penalties.
With one win under their belt, Inter Miami now embark on a tour of South America, which will see them travel to Peru, Panama, and Honduras.
Peruvian giants Universitario are first on the agenda for Mascherano’s side, in what will be a tough test for Lionel Messi and co.

Inter Miami’s pre-season clash with Universitario is scheduled for an 8 pm ET/5 pm PT kick-off on Wednesday, Jan 29, 2025.
The match will take place in Lima, Peru at the Estadio Monumental de Ate.

Messi has traveled with the Inter Miami squad to Peru, with the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner expected to start in Lima.
Fellow ex-Barcelona stars Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba are also expected to feature at some point as well.
Tomas Aviles earned praise from fans for his display against Club America and will likely start again at the heart of the Herons defense.
Rocco Rios Novo also impressed in Las Vegas and it would be no surprise to see the Argentine retain his spot as goalkeeper.
Miami however may be without Tadeo Allende and Telasco Segovia as the pair await visa confirmation.
