Former Brazil international Kleberson has tipped Lionel Messi to make an unlikely decision with Inter Miami after his playing days are over.
The 37-year-old attacker is entering the final years of his legendary career, with Messi hopeful of ending the 2024 season by winning the Supporters’s Shield with Inter Miami as well as lifting MLS Cup come December.
Having already won the Copa America earlier this summer, Messi is the most decorated player in the history of soccer, with the forward now potentially thinking about what to do once his days on the pitch are over.
And Kleberson has shared an interesting idea for Messi post-playing at Inter Miami.

Messi tipped to become an MLS manager once finished with Inter Miami
Speaking to DAZN, the former Brazil international gave a surprise prediction that Messi will go into management in MLS once he’s hanged up his boots, with the Inter Miami job one that the Argentine could take on.
Whilst Messi has not indicated what he wants to do when he’s finished playing, a move into coaching with the Herons could be on the table given how settled his family now look in Florida since moving last year.
Kleberson said about Messi coaching in MLS: “The change in the way people see the MLS since Messi joined is huge. Everything he brings to the league already as a player from his performances, to viewing figures, to money is unbelievable.
“As a head coach for an MLS team, I think the impact could be even bigger. Obviously, not all great players become great managers but his chances of success at a team like Miami or someone else are high.”

Messi could be tempted to remain in Florida as a coach
Whilst the full step into management might be a bit too far at this stage, Messi becoming an assistant coach for the future staff at Inter Miami is something that could tempt the forward.
As previously stated, Miami is now home for Messi and his family, with everyone enjoying their new life in the United States and the perks that comes with playing in a country where soccer isn’t the biggest sport.
And for Messi, becoming a coach or having some involvement in Inter Miami after playing could be a good idea for the former FC Barcelona star, who might want to stay rooted in Florida post-playing.
