Benjamin Cremaschi has been one of Inter Miami’s star players in the last 12 months, with the midfielder going from strength to strength with each passing game.

The Florida native exploded onto the scene last year alongside the arrival of Lionel Messi, with Cremaschi quickly establishing himself as a key figure for Tata Martino in Inter Miami’s system when fully fit.

With Cremaschi praied by Kieran Gibbs for his ability to create space for Messi, the 19-year-old is well on course to become the next player from Inter Miami to leave for big money, with Diego Gomez set to join Brighton & Hove Albion for a club-record fee.

And Cremaschi has now named the five players he’s trying to learn from at Inter Miami.

Cremaschi names Inter Miami superstars and Julian Gressel as key players he’s learning from

Speaking on the Player/Manager podcast, Cremaschi named the four big Inter Miami superstars in Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba as players he’s learning from, as well as midfielder Julian Gressel.

The USA international has emerged as one of Inter Miami’s best and most consistent players this year under Martino, and for Cremaschi, Gressel has become a real source of knowledge for the teenager in the squad.

Cremaschi said on Gressl and Inter Miami’s superstar names: “I’ve been with Julian for seven months, eight months, and he’s been great to me. We’ve sat down and we’ve had multiple conversations about life or sport.

“It’s nice to have someone like that. He’s giving me the experience that he’s lived and it’s great to absorb all of that. I try to absorb information from Busquets, Leo, Suarez and Jordi, and he’s obviously someone that I try to listen to.”

Cremaschi has the best mentors anyone could ask for in MLS

Excellence breeds excellence in soccer, and with Inter Miami having four of the best players ever to play the game, it’s no real surprise that the likes of Cremaschi are seeing their performances reach unexpected new heights.

The 19-year-old midfielder is at the perfect stage in his career to soak in what Messi, Busquets and Suarez are teaching him, with help from Alba and Gressel also helpful in Cremaschi’s development.

With the teenager progressing at a rapid rate, it wouldn’t be a surprise to anyone if Cremaschi ended up in Europe next year, with the midfielder on course to become one of the best products coming out of MLS in some time.
