USA international Weston McKennie has emerged as a target for Inter Miami, with the Juventus midfielder expected to be on the move this summer after three years with the Italian giants.
With Inter Miami also interested in Cesar Montes, the Herons could be gearing up to make one big signing before the closure of the MLS transfer window later this month.
And McKennie has now revealed who he thinks is better between Messi and former Juventus teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking to Goal USA, McKennie picked Ronaldo over Messi when asked which of the two he’d choose in his dream five-a-side team, with the midfielder saying: “Ronaldo, I got to say that.”
With McKennie playing with Ronaldo at Juventus, it’s no real surprise that the former Schalke 04 star has picked the Portuguese over Messi during the Greatest Of All Time debate.
Indeed, Ronaldo is one of the most successful soccer players of all time and led Juventus to silverware during his time in Italy with McKennie, where the pair struck up a good friendship on and off the pitch.
Yet with McKennie now potentially heading to Inter Miami, the USA international’s choice of Ronaldo over Messi could go down badly with some fans, up until the midfielder realizes how good the Argentine is.
McKennie will change his mind after training with Messi
McKennie clearly has a good reason for picking Ronaldo over Messi in the GOAT debate, yet should the midfielder actually join Inter Miami this summer, the US star might quickly change his mind.
The reigning Ballon d’Or holder is regarded as the best ever for good reason, with Messi the most decorated player in history and still one of the greatest in the game at age 37,
And for McKennie, Messi could change the USA star’s mind rather quickly on who is the GOAT with just a few training sessions, with the Argentine capable of doing things that Ronaldo can only dream about.
