Inter Miami have just one regular season game left to go before attention fully shifts to going all the way in MLS Cup.
The Herons secured the Supporters’ Shield last week with a historic win against the Columbus Crew, with Lionel Messi scoring a brace as the Argentine international showed why Inter Miami are the favorites to win this year’s MLS Cup.
With Inter Miami having home-field advantage for the play-offs, there’s a real chance that Tata Martino’s side could go all the way in MLS Cup and secure a historic domestic double in what has been an outstanding year for the franchise.
And youngster Noah Allen has now shared how Inter Miami’s squad are feeling heading into the play-offs.

Inter Miami ‘locked in’ to win MLS Cup this year
Speaking to Apple TV, the 20-year-old defender revealed how Inter Miami are focused on bringing MLS Cup to Florida, with the squad ‘locked in’ to win their second piece of silverware this year having won the Supporters’ Shield.
With Inter Miami’s squad almost at full health and Messi looking as good as he ever has for the Herons since returning from injury, all the ingredients are there for the Florida franchise to go all the way in the post-season play-offs.
And the mood around the Inter Miami camp seems to be focused and determined, with Allen saying when asked how the squad feels about challenging for MLS Cup: “The target is MLS Cup, that’s been the target the whole year.
“But obviously, we want to win as many games as possible, and now that the opportunity presents itself to make some history, we’re hungry for it. We were 100% locked in from the first day. We’re full of confidence right now.”

MLS Cup is the Herons’ to lose heading into the play-offs
With Inter Miami likely to go into the post-season as the best MLS team in league history based off points won during a regular season, there’s good reason to believe why the Herons are confident in their quest to win MLS Cup.
The Florida franchise have been exceptional all year with Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets all fully fit heading into the final game of the regular season against the New England Revolution at Chase Stadium.
And for many fans and pundits, MLS Cup is Inter Miami’s to lose, such is the Herons’ quality heading into the play-offs and how good the Florida side are compared to the rest of their opposition.
