How much money Inter Miami will receive for FIFA Club World Cup involvement

Inter Miami will take part in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup – despite widespread opposition to their involvement.

David Beckham watched his side crash out of the MLS Cup play-off first round after a 3-2 defeat against Atlanta United.

Nevertheless, winning the MLS Supporters’ Shield was enough for Gianni Infantino to include Inter Miami and Lionel Messi in next year’s FIFA Club World Cup – which is set to involve 32 teams for the first time ever.

As such, the funding will increase for the competition, with Inter Miami set to make millions before even kicking a ball at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Inter Miami to secure at least €50m from FIFA

A story by Il Bianco Nero claims that those who have qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup stand to receive €50m ($52.6m) in prize money.

The Italian news outlet – who wrote the article after Juventus qualified for the competition – add that whoever wins the FIFA Club World Cup will receive double that amount with a €100m ($105.2m) cash boost.

David Beckham could use this money to lure more stars to Inter Miami

$52.6m is a very welcome injection of cash for Inter Miami – and it could help Beckham secure another star.

Inter Miami have bid for Neymar ahead of the January transfer window – according to sources in Saudi Arabia – but should personal terms become an issue, we presume the $52.6m set to arrive in the club’s bank account could help negotiations progress.

It would be special to see the Brazilian arrive in Miami – where he would be reunited with Messi, Jordi Alba, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets, who he once starred alongside at Barcelona.

Furthermore, Inter Miami have been linked with Paul Pogba – the Frenchman’s arrival could be prevented by all three Designated Player spots already being occupied by Messi, Busquets and Leonardo Campana, but if a space does open up, the FIFA Club World Cup cash could also prove helpful.
