Lionel Messi has unsurprisingly earned himself a lot of fans during his illustrious career.
Having dazzled and wowed fans across the globe, the Inter Miami man is no stranger to high praise.
For example, Pep Guardiola once claimed Messi was ‘different from everyone else’, meanwhile, ex-Chelsea star Eden Hazard hailed Messi as the GOAT.
Another soccer star who has not been afraid to voice their admiration for the Argentine – is recent Golden Boy winner Lamine Yamal.

Lamine Yamal speaks on Lionel Messi admiration
Left-footed, creative, and magic on the ball – Yamal’s exploits for Barcelona and Spain have unsurprisingly earned him some big comparisons to the World Cup winner.
Messi even admitted Yamal reminded him of himself, recently labeling the youngster as the ‘present and future’.
With that being said, Yamal has since revealed he sees Messi as an inspiration – in a recent promotional video for Adidas.
“What I admire most about Messi’s game, is how naturally he does everything. He can be in a final and effortlessly get past four defenders. There’s no player like him.
“You could be doing everything right for two years, but when we talk about Messi, there is only one. That’s very hard to achieve and that’s what I admire most about him.”
“I really admire Messi’s mentality and desire to win. In the end, he has won Champions Leagues, Ballon d’Ors, and he always wants more. He didn’t rest until he won the World Cup. That’s something I admire a lot, and it’s difficult, although people don’t believe it.
“After winning a title, he could have let himself relax, but he has never done that. He still craves more victories and more World Cups. That’s what I admire most about him.
Lamine Yamal reveals how Sergio Busquets helped him at Barcelona
The Inter Miami first-team squad contains a number of soccer greats, like Messi, Luis Suarez, and Sergio Busquets – all of whom are top influences on the Vice City youngsters.
Last season, Yannick Bright revealed he was ‘learning’ from Busquets – something Yamal has also done during his time with the midfielder at Barcelona.
As the youngster was making his first steps in the Blaugrana first-team he revealed that Busquets was one the players who helped him the most.
“A player that has helped me a lot? Busquets. When I joined the first team he helped me a lot, he was always talking to me asking how I was and telling me how important I was to the club. Also Jordi Alba had a big role,” Yamal said.
Having made such a positive impact on Yamal’s blossoming career, Busquets will no doubt hope to do the same to the likes of Federico Redondo and Benjamin Cremaschi at the Chase Stadium.
