The new faces have suddenly started to flood in at Inter Miami after a slow start to their offseason business.

Javier Mascherano’s promise of new deals appears to be coming true. Inter Miami announced the signing of Tadeo Allende from Celta Vigo recently.

The Herons also agreed a deal for Colo Colo’s Maxi Falcon, a much-needed defensive addition to the side who are struggling in that area.

While Inter Miami have added several attackers it seems that Mascherano would like further options ahead of a pivotal first season in club management for the former Barcelona star.

Inter Miami back in for Mateo Pellegrino

Inter Miami have been linked with many attacking talents during the offseason including Liverpool’s Mo Salah and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.

Neymar has also stated his interest in Inter Miami, he would like to team up with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez once more.

While many would love to see the Brazilian star at Chase Stadium Suarez highlighted how a deal to sign Neymar would be tough.

Instead, Inter Miami have turned their attention back to Velez Sarsfield striker Mateo Pellegrino. The Herons have already had an initial offer for the star rejected.

However, according to reports the club are back in for Pellegrino having reopened negotiations with the 23-year-old.

Inter Miami faces competition with Racing, who he was offered to, but for now, they are not in the running.

The young career of Pellegrino

Pellegrino was born in Valencia, Spain and his father is, Mauricio Pellegrino, the current manager of the Argentinian side Lanus.

Despite growing up in Spain the whole of Pellegrino’s career has come in the Argentinian top flight where he has played for three sides.

The striker is currently with Velez Sarsfield but has been out on loan with both Estudiantes and Platense.

In his last season with Platense, he impressed massively and this is likely the reason why Inter Miami have had their interest perked in the star.
