Inter Miami have reportedly named their price to sell midfielder Diego Gomez this summer after rejecting an opening offer from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Paraguay international has been subject to major interest from the Premier League in recent weeks, with Brighton recently having a $8.5m bid shot down by Inter Miami, with West Ham also believed to be tracking Gomez.
Although the 21-year-old has only just returned from a lengthy injury, Gomez has been one of Inter Miami’s top performers this year, operating in central midfield as well as out on the left-wing, forming quite the partnership with Lionel Messi on the other side.
And Inter Miami have now named their demands for Gomez if he’s to leave this summer.

Inter Miami slap $25m asking price on Gomez after Brighton bid
According to journalist Tom Bogart, Inter Miami want as much as $25m for Gomez this summer, though the Herons could be willing to accept $15m if the situation were to come to that scenario.
Having been signed by Inter Miami for just $3m from Club Libertad, the Herons stand to make a massive profit from the sale of Gomez if Brighton are willing to meet the Florida franchise’s demands for the Paraguay star.
And with Inter Miami setting their stool out early, there’s a real chance that Tata Martino’s side could recoup a good fee for Gomez, who seems intent on moving to Europe.
Indeed, the 21-year-old has shown this season he is ready for that next step up in his career, and Brighton could well look to make a big statement by meeting Inter Miami’s demands for Gomez.

Inter Miami need to secure as much as possible for Gomez this summer
Whilst Gomez would benefit greatly from remaining at Inter Miami for the rest of the year, Premier League interest is likely to prove too tempting for the Paraguay international this summer.
And as a result, the Herons need to ensure that they can recoup as much as possible from selling Gomez this summer, who could well leave for a figure close to Miguel Almiron’s MLS-record move to Newcastle United.
Gomez is clearly good enough for a move to Europe and the Premier League at this stage in his career, and Inter Miami have to make sure they are fairly compensated when it comes to selling one of their best assets.
