Antoine Griezmann has long been linked with a move to MLS, with Inter Miami one of the clubs the Atletico Madrid attacker has been rumored with.
The 33-year-old France forward has made his love for the United States very public in recent years, with Griezmann now linked with a move to Inter Miami once his time with Atletico is over, with Los Angeles FC also reportedly interested in the striker.
With this season expected to be Griezmann’s last in La Liga with the Spanish giants, there is a real chance that the former FC Barcelona star could finally make the move to MLS in 2025 after years of speculation.

Taking to social media, Griezmann surprisingly announced his retirement from the France national team, with the Atletico star writing: “It is with a heart full of memories that I close this chapter of my life. Thank you for this magnificent tricolor adventure and see you soon.”
Les Bleus’ third all-time appearance holder and fourth all-time goalscorer, Griezmann leaves the France national team as a legend having played a key role in the 2018 FIFA World Cup win and runs to the 2016 Euros and 2022 World Cup finals.
Yet with Griezmann now no longer part of the France set-up, this announcement could boost the ongoing rumors surrounding the Atletico attacker moving to America in 2025, with Inter Miami a potential destination.
Indeed, Griezmann played alongside Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, and although Inter Miami might need to find some workaround on how to afford the striker’s wages, there’s a real chance that the forward could end up in Florida next year.
Inter Miami need to make a real push to sign Griezmann
