Paul Pogba is set to leave Juventus in the coming weeks, and Inter Miami have emerged as a potential destination for the French midfielder.
Inter Miami are believed to be interested in signing Pogba with the 32-year-old superstar set for a new chapter in his career in 2025, with the former Manchester United maestro’s worldwide soccer ban set to come to an end in March.
With Juventus working on releasing Pogba from his contract, a move to MLS and to Inter Miami would make a lot of sense for the Serie A midfielder, who has property in Florida and is a big fan of the United States as a country.
Yet Inter Miami are not the first MLS side to have made contact in the race to sign Pogba.

Los Angeles FC have approached Pogba over potential MLS move
According to CalcioMercato, Western Conference giants Los Angeles FC have been in contact already with Pogba over a potential move to MLS, with the California franchise already having former France internationals Hugo Lloris and Olivier Giroud on their books.
With a free Designated Player spot open, LAFC have the financial freedom to make a big offer to Pogba immediately, something Inter Miami cannot do right now unless they were to buy down one of their three DP contracts heading into the January transfer window.
Indeed, LAFC have a significant advantage when it comes to chasing Pogba, with Steve Cherundolo’s side having the financial wiggle room and the French appeal in Lloris and Giroud to persuade the midfielder to head to the City of Angels.
As a result, Inter Miami could have a major mountain to climb already when it comes to Pogba, especially when it comes to trying to buy down one of their current DP contracts in order to make space for Pogba.

Inter Miami might have already lost the race to sign Pogba
Even with Pogba being out of action for essentially two years, the former United star remains one of the biggest names in soccer, with the midfielder a franchise player and someone most clubs in the world would love to have on their roster.
Yet with news now emerging that LAFC are in contact to sign Pogba, Inter Miami could be out of the race already for the midfielder, who could prefer the California lifestyle and playing with his former France teammates for one of the best teams in MLS.
Inter Miami are now out of the race, though, for Pogba, yet it would take quite an effort from the Herons to beat the likes of LAFC to the Juventus star, who now looks odds on to make the move to the Western Conference.
