As 2024 comes to a close, David Beckham and co are planning for life under new head coach Javier Mascherano.
The Argentine recently got his first signing through the door, following Fafa Picault’s arrival from the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Mascherano however is seeking further recruits, which has seen Inter Miami linked with the signing of Gonzalo Lujan from San Lorenzo.
With Lujan relatively unknown outside of South America, Inter Miami News thought it would be worthwhile taking a closer look at the Herons transfer target.

Gonzalo Lujan style of play
Gonzalo Lujan is a very versatile defender who is able to play in a number of different positions in systems – potentially providing Maschernao with some much-needed tactical flexibility.
His main strengths lie with the ball at his feet, regularly able to dribble past opponents and whip crosses into the box.
In terms of defending, the 23-year-old is very strong when it comes to 1v1 duels whether that be on the ground or in the air.
