Inter Miami have been handed a major setback in their pursuit of Neymar with one of their MLS rivals declaring their interest.
Neymar is looking to reunite with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez meaning a move to Inter Miami was looking more likely.
Suarez openly admitted it would be ‘difficult’ to sign Neymar, but would welcome the arrival of his former Barcelona strike partner.
Leo Campana’s exit was thought to make a Neymar deal easier, however, the latest news could have dealt the club a major blow.

Chicago Fire ‘in talks’ with Neymar
Inter Miami appeared to be getting closer to a Neymar deal, however, it now appears that they face some major competition.
According to reports by Foot Mercato, the Fire are in discussions with the player over a two-year contract.
The MLS club reportedly wants to make a big splash and land the Brazilian this January, a move that would certainly shock the soccer world.
Nothing is yet finalized but the bold move from the MLS side will certainly have the likes of Inter Miami scrambling.
Despite Neymar finding an Inter Miami move ‘appealing’ it looks as if David Beckham and Javier Mascherano may need to act quickly.
It may not be as simple as that though with Mascherano recently confirming that finances would play a major issue in trying to sign the superstar talent.

Messi and Suarez could hold the key
There has been no hiding Neymar’s desire to play alongside his former Barcelona teammates once more, so a move to the Fire would be a shock.
Messi looks set to sign a new Inter Miami contract, and Suarez himself has already put pen to paper over a new deal.
The famous MSN strike force scored 364 goals between 2014-17 at Barcelona, and Mascherano would love to reunite the trio if he could.
Inter Miami will be hoping that both Suarez and Messi can convince Neymar that they are the club he needs to represent in the MLS, however, if finances are the issue it will make little difference.
